Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This policy explains how we use personal information when you visit this website, send an enquiry, or work with us. We keep that information limited to what we need to reply and, if we work together, to provide the service.

Who we are

Reqoo Ltd (company number 17064295), trading as Daily Matter, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We are based in the United Kingdom.

You can contact us about your information at business@dailymatter.co.uk.

Information we collect

We collect only what you give us, and the limited technical information a website receives in the ordinary course of a visit.

  • From the enquiry form: your name, agency name, email address, and monthly revenue range. From the preparation questions that follow: your role, phone number, how many clients you have on monthly retainers, the usual retainer value, the challenge you describe, and, if you choose to tell us, how you heard about Daily Matter.
  • If you email us: your email address and whatever you include in the message.
  • If we work together: the business contact details, and the client information you share, so we can install and manage the client retention system.
  • From a normal visit: server logs may include an IP address and browser details, where our hosting provider records them. We do not use this for advertising.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry. We aim to reply within one working day.
  • To decide whether we can work together, and to provide the service if we do.
  • To keep the records we need for accounts, tax, and legal claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to send third-party advertising.

Why we are allowed to use it

UK data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use.

Replying to an enquiry is in our legitimate interests. Our interest is answering a business enquiry you chose to send. You can object. If you do, we will stop unless we have a compelling reason to continue, such as a legal claim.

Providing an agreed service is necessary for that contract, or for steps you ask us to take before a contract.

Keeping certain records is a legal obligation, including accounts and tax.

When you share your own clients’ information with us, you remain responsible for that information. We use it only to provide the agreed service and on your instructions.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry details: for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together or we need the record for a legal claim.
  • Client and accounts records: for the engagement, and for up to six years afterwards, so we can meet tax and accounting duties and deal with any dispute.

When we no longer need the information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only where we need to.

  • People in our business who need it to reply or to do the work.
  • Suppliers who host this website or store records for us, and only so they can provide that service.
  • Professional advisers, such as an accountant or a lawyer, where we need their advice.
  • A public authority, if the law requires it.

Where it is kept

We are based in the United Kingdom. If a supplier stores information outside the United Kingdom, we use them only where UK data protection law allows that transfer.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not set non-essential cookies. We do not show a cookie banner for that reason.

Your rights

You can ask us to do the following. We will respond within one month. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete it, where the law allows.
  • Limit how we use it.
  • Provide a copy in a portable form, where that right applies.
  • Object to use based on legitimate interests.

Complaints

Write to business@dailymatter.co.uk and we will look into it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put things right first.

Children

This website is for agency owners and their teams. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practice changes or the law requires it. The date at the top of this page is the latest version.
